Well it is only the beginning and I am already knee deep in paperwork and entrenched in document gathering mode. I fully expected to have to do all this paperwork and visits to vital records and the doctor and the police, etc., but man - it sure is exhausting. Oh, and I had the pleasure of paying the state of Colorado $20 today to make them correct a misspelling on Sam's birth certificate. Yes, a mis-typing job by whoever entered it into the system - yet I have to pay for the correction!
It cracks me up that we don't require any approval or license for reproduction! Oh well.....back to work, I'm sure this won't be my last gripe on the subject. (Secretly though I love it because it is baby steps through the process)
