Holy Cow!

One day later and our adoption application has been approved! So what does that really mean? It just means that we are starting the process. It is sort of like going off birth control when you are trying to get pregnant - one tiny step in the right direction, and who knows how long it will be until you have your child. But in just 24 hours I have received loads of new paperwork to do, had 2 conversations with our agency and scheduled our first HOMESTUDY!!!! I'm so excited!

    hey guys - thanks for keeping up with your blog on this. congratulations on taking a big step.
    we'd love to chat with you guys sometime about your trip. sounds like you gained more than you bargained for. some of our closest friends have adopted from ethiopia as you are planning. 1 couple with twins, one with a little boy and one with a little girl. all saying it was the best thing they've done so far.
