Hallelluia, praise God, God is Good, God is Love, God is Provider!
Though I have often wondered in this journey where He was, this week we got confirmation that he truly is Immanuel - God with us! About a week ago I just felt peace come over me. I can't explain it but I just did. And this morning I woke up to the most glorious news, we have finally after a roller-coaster from hell passed court and we HAVE A DAUGHTER. A beautiful Ethiopian Princess, a darling beyond belief, a little girl that we have been head over heels in love with for the last 7 months. Who we held in our arms for the first time 118 days ago. A daughter who we left not knowing when we would ever see her again 115 days ago. Three court dates, weeks and weeks of disappointment, fear and anxiety...and finally she is legally part of our family!
And we thank God for that! As they say in the slums of Kenya: God is Good all the time and all the time God is Good!
(And yes, we still have steps with the US Embassy to work out but I am not even thinking or worrying about that today. Today is for celebration!)
