4/17/11 - We arrive home, finally a family of 5!
4/13/11 - Our adoption is finalized at the US Embassy in Addis Ababa
4/5/11 - We receive embassy clearance
3/1/11 - 3rd Court Date - FINALLY WE PASS!
2/11/11 - 2nd Court Date, again we don't pass
11/11/10-2/11/11 LOTS of paperwork problems
11/11/10 - We appear at court in Addis Ababa to accept Shibire
10/7/10 - We receive our court date: Nov. 12
9/28/10 Courts Open
8/14/10 Courts in Ethiopia Close
8/4/10 - We receive a referral for our beautiful angel
7/16/10 - #5 Toddler list!
6/9/10 - Into the "teens" at #19
4/2/10 - Received our I-171H
2/25/10 - Dossier certified by US govt, sent to Ethiopia
2/16/10 - We are listed! #25 Baby Girl, #7 Toddler Girl
2/14/10 Dossier submitted to IAN
2/10/10 - I600A Filed
2/9/10 - Homestudy Approval Received
1/22/10 - Homestudy submitted to the state
12/29/09 - Third Homestudy mtg
12/9/09 - Second Homestudy mtg
12/2/09 - Our first Homestudy mtg
11/24/09 - We submit our application for adoption to the agency
9/09 - Yea! We are going for it!
8/09 - We realize that Ethiopia is where we are meant to adopt from and we begin preliminary steps
7/09 - We begin to research adoption options, domestic vs, international, agencies, policies
4/09 - Kelly and Mike begin to discuss adoption
2/09 - Kelly realizes that she wants to adopt
11/08 - Kelly puts Mike "on notice" that she is thinking of #3
